I feel like summer was just here yesterday, but it’s suddenly fall, and the leaves are turning. I invite you to an event with music that’s as colorful and beautiful as the foliage, a perfect autumn evening. Do note that this performance is at Union Episcopal Church. Bring your favorite blanket or wear your favorite sweater for extra coziness. It might get a bit chilly. We’ll also be live streaming, in case you can’t make it to the event, so keep an eye out for our Facebook posts.

Please join us for an evening concert, presented by West Claremont Center for Music and the Arts. Tickets by Donation. Students FREE.

Skye Consort & Emma Björling perform trans-Atlantic arrangements of songs and tunes from Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, England, Québec, Acadia, the USA, as well as original compositions. Each musician brings their own individual interpretation to these traditions, creating an extraordinary collaboration featuring voices, fiddle, nyckelharpa, cello, bouzouki, banjo, and percussion. Collectively, the band presents an assortment of whirling polskas, groovy reels, passionate love songs, breathtaking hymns, and original compositions.
