The Opus Arts project is seeking artists for a special public art tour. The theme is “music” and is intended to represent a meeting point or collision of visual arts and musical instruments. Artists will have the option of being provided with a broken musical instrument that they incorporate into their artwork in any way they like (this is not required).
The art will be sponsored by businesses around the city as part of an art and business tour of Claremont. It will remain on display between July and November with information about the artists. All art submitted is a donation to WCCMA, and will be auctioned off at a celebration and fundraiser in November. Professional and amateur artists are encouraged to apply, all ages are welcome (under 18 requires a parent’s permission). For more details or to apply: [email protected]
Early Applications are recommended, we notify you about acceptance within 7 days after your application is received. Art goes on display for the first week of July.
