Wine, Cheese, Music and Art: Special WCCMA Fundraiser

Join us for this very special event at the Naughty Vine in Downtown Claremont. The Naughty Vine offers wine, cheese and chocolate from the Northeast region, as well as displaying the work of local artists. On June 1st, their Grand Opening, there will be a very special event with all ticket proceeds benefiting WCCMA programs. Enjoy 4 wines, a variety of cheeses, appetizers, art AND special musical guest harper/soprano Angela Biggs.

Advanced tickets are $15, or $25/pair of tickets. Tickets will be available at the door for $20/each. We will have “Wine-less” tickets also available, contact us for more details.

This Sunday: Amazing arts demos and shopping

Don’t miss out on the 2nd Annual Local Arts Fair, Sunday 11-3 is the final day! The clock falls back an hour, which means you have a whole extra hour in the day to visit local talent and buy local. This great event has live music by singer and harpist Angela Biggs. You can even try the harp yourself in a demonstration with Angela. Other demonstations are also going on throughout the day, including by sculptor Ernest Montenegro, potter Marthe Dyner, crochet by Suzanne Rebert, and watercolor painter Geoffrey Shepherd. Watch, ask questions, start on your holiday shopping, or just find a treat for yourself.

2nd Annual Local Arts Fair – Please plan your route!

It looks like the Coy Paper Bridge (at Plains Rd and Lower Main St) **IS** open in time for this event. Please be aware that this main entrance to Old Church Rd will not be open, and the detour set up will take you far out of your way. You can also take Main St to Twistback Rd and connect to Old Church Rd, or take Maple Ave to Plains Rd, and bear right onto Old Church Rd. We plan to have signs up that say “NH Open Doors ->” but don’t hesitate to call if you need help planning your route: 802.738.0022

Stuart Paton of Burlington Taiko Group will be available to do a workshop on November 9th. If you would be interested in participating please contact [email protected]. The program would be by donation, and held in West Claremont in the Union Church Hall. We must meet a minimum number of participants in order to hold this workshop, so make sure to email us if you are interested!
