Here’s a handy FAQ:

What in the world is a cookie walk?

A Cookie Walk is just a bake sale where you get to fill a container with a variety of items that you choose. AND ours isn’t just limited to cookies.

How much are the baked goods?

You can choose a small bag for $2.50, medium for $6.00, and large is $12/lb (1 lb = approximately 35 cookies). We’ll also have a variety of beverages for $1 each.

What kind of goodies will there be?

We pride ourselves on having some of the finest bakers participating that you will find anywhere. Just to name a few items, we’ll have: Red Velvet Cheesecake, Baklawa, Oatmeal maple syrup cookies, Apricot bars, Ginger snaps, Holiday gift cake, Danish jam cookies, and lots more.

It’s cool that there will be free samples, but why?

Because you will get to sample all of the competators’ entries, and vote on your favorite. Then, we’ll declare a people’s choice winner.

Who are the judges of the competition?

President Abraham Lincoln (played by Claremont Resident Steve Wood), Sharon Wood, and NH State Rep. Raymond Gagnon.

Can I take a picture with President Lincoln?

We bet that once he is done judging he’ll be happy to talk with you and maybe even take a picture with you.

Will I have to listen to any annoying Christmas music while I’m there?

That depends on what you like, but hopefully the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky will be a pleasant soundtrack for your visit.

Is the Union Church Hall handicapped Accessible?

Yes. Please use the side door. There is a lift that anyone with difficulty managing the stairs can use. Take it to “3.”

Will there be gingerbread houses to decorate?

NO. That event, organized by Union Church, is on Dec 15th. That information can be found  HERE
