A collection of works guitar, flute, and piano exploring Latin American Music across traditions and musical styles. The program will include Piazzolla’s iconic “History of the Tango,” Manuel Ponce’s neoclassical Sonata for guitar & piano, “Paisaje-Vals,” for flute, guitar, & piano by Jose Lezcano, and more. We’ll explore tango’s evolution, impressionist harmonies, and homage to Venezuelan Vals, and more. The program will be presented to a limited audience live, outside, at Union Church, and will also be available on Youtube, to audience members that register. Advanced registration is highly recommended, as there will only be limited seating options at the door. Bring your own comfy chair to enjoy this concert.
