CANCELLED — Songwriting Workshop with Myra Flynn 4:00 PMmore info >>>
Singer/songwriter Myra Flynn spends her career embracing dichotomy. Half Irish and half African American, her original indie/soul songs blend soulful vocals with a lyrical delivery that doesn’t let one get too comfortable. As the New England Deli Magazine puts it, “Her vocal influences have as much in common with Ani Difranco and Shawn Colvin as they do with Rihanna and Jill Scott.”
Join us for creativity and wisdom! Bring your creative and open spirit for this guided session on love and creativity. Each participant will create a “love note” to take home (art supplies provided), and get an individual insight on a question that they can use for confirmation, reflection, and self-guidance. Love is one of the most beautiful and challenging parts of existence, and the most important part of love is to start with self-love! Tickets are $35 – 50.
Space is limited. All funds benefit the West Claremont Center for Music and the Arts and our home at the Claremont Creative Center.
Limited individual sessions can be scheduled individually.

HopStop Family Show — The Baffo Box Show by Modern Times Theater
The Baffo Box Show / Modern Times Theater
Saturday, January 18, 2025 @ 3:00 — 4:30 PM CSB Community Center 152 South St. , Claremont NH
A daring work of puppetry, full of beautiful images, junk music and object manipulation.
When the world breaks, someone has to fix it. In this comedy in a box, audiences are invited into a fragile universe of cardboard, where the Baffo Brothers keep the sun running on schedule, negotiate with a demanding neighbor and attempt to keep a changing world from coming apart.
Modern Times Theater’s re-envisioning of classic hand puppet forms is digital entertainment as it was meant to be: two hands, ten fingers and no camera tricks.
Puppeteered by Justin Lander and directed by Rose Friedman, The Baffo Box Show was supported by a 2022 Family Grant from the Jim Henson Foundation.
