Reserve your tickets for the Spring Tea and Luncheon!

The weather report is calling for a beautiful spring day on Saturday, and there are still a few tickets left for the spring tea and luncheon. What better way to spend a spring day than with live music, a cupcake bar, a delicious lunch spread, prizes and more? Don’t forget to bring your spring hat for the hat parade, and get ready to join in the Maypole dancing (weather permitting) at the end of the event. Live music will be provided by Angela Biggs, soprano, Kirsten Becker, piano, and students from the studio of Angela Biggs.

Saturday: St Paddy’s Day HopStop, and March’s Arts Mixer Open Studio!

Arts Mixer – 3rd Saturdays Open Studio

March 17, 2018 @ 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Union Episcopal Church

Join us for a monthly open studio session at the West Claremont Center for Music and the Arts. All creative mediums are welcome. We’ll have hosts skilled in painting, drawing, crochet, sewing, jewelry, photography, graphic design, and more. Bring your project and all materials, some limited basic supplies and tools may be available for use.

This event is for ages 12 and up (under 16 should have an adult join them). Younger devoted artists may contact us to inquire about attending with adult supervision.

Fee:$10 for members, $15 for nonmembers

HopStop: Pete’s Posse with Sharon Comeau (FREE)

March 17, 2018 @ 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Claremont Savings Bank Community Center

Join Vermont’s own Pete Sutherland, Oliver Scanlon and Tristan Henderson as they perform tunes from and about Ireland for this St. Patrick’s Day HopStop. Fiddle, mandolin, vocals and more will have the room rocking in this musical celebration of all things Eire. Local dancer Sharon Comeau will share some simple and sprightly Irish dance steps for all to try.

Registration deadline extended, register now to the the early bird discount! A Multidisciplinary program for artists of all types, and a new take on our Summer Camp program from last year. Come together to create art and music! Whether you want to be a soloist or help behind the scenes, there’s a way for you to be a part of the show. For middle through high school students. Outstanding essays are eligable for a discount towards your registration fee, which will be refunded towards your registration if you paid in advance. WCCMA’s InterArts Summer Camp is an opportunity for students with an interest in the arts to come together to explore, learn, and create for 3 weeks over the summer. Participants will collaborate to form a multi-disciplinary performance for the public which will be shaped and guided by their talents. Tuesday and Thursday for 3 weeks in July participants will work together to create a vaudeville show that will be performed at the end of the third week.
