CLAREMONT HOPSTOP FAMILY SHOW: THE TANGLEWOOD MARIONETTES

SLEEPING BEAUTY

These marvelous Massachusetts-based puppeteers retell a beloved fairy tale with lavishly costumed puppets—as well as a few silly surprises. Portraying enchanted Princess Aurora, the wicked witch and others, each marionette is manipulated with precision and grace. Performance is followed by a “backstage” tour!

HopStops are recommended for ages 3 and up with accompanying adult; entire families are welcome. Doors open at 2:30, show starts at 3:00 and is 45-60 minutes long. No ticket or sign up needed.

Pre-concert lectures will be held on both evenings at 6:30pm. This concerto inaugurates a series of 4 works by composers with locals ties commissioned in honor of the Orchestra’s 45th season. Two symphonies at the heart of the Classical repertoire, Mozart’s “Paris” and Schubert’s “Unfinished”, complete the program.
