WCCMA is proud to present a performance with these two wonderful student pianist, and invite you to participate in this part of their musical journey. Join Claremont’s own Adelyn Nelson and Gorham’s DeMarco Alvarez-Leonardo as they come together for an afternoon of piano classics. Student of Dr. Hsiang Tu and a senior at Stevens High School, Adelyn will be performing Beethoven’s “Tempest” Sonata Op. 31 No. 2, and Liszt’s “Waldesrauschen” of his Two Concert Etudes S.145. DeMarco, student of Dr. Carleen Graff, will be performing the first movement of Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1, Op. 25, as well as Liszt’s “Un Sospiro” of his Three Concert Etudes S.144, and Debussy’s Reflets dans l’eau.

Arts Mixer – 3rd Saturdays Open Studio
Join us for a monthly open studio session at the West Claremont Center for Music and the Arts. All creative mediums are welcome. We’ll have hosts skilled in painting, drawing, crochet, sewing, jewelry, photography, graphic design, and more. Bring your project and all materials, some limited basic supplies and tools may be available for use.
This event is for ages 12 and up (under 16 should have an adult join them). Younger devoted artists may contact us to inquire about attending with adult supervision.
Fee:$10 for members, $15 for nonmembers

Sing! A Joyful Christmas Sing-along
Bring your voice and sing along to favorite sacred and secular holiday music with local musicians Kirsten Becker, piano; Angela Biggs, Soprano; and Melissa Richmond, flute. From mangers and wise men, to nutcrackers and dancing reindeer this will be an event to remember. Admission is by donation, we ask you to consider a donation in support of our local musicians and youth.
