Today 2pm: Dixieland Concert!

Join us today for music, fun, friends, and cookies! Local group the Firehouse Six Dixieland Band will be returning again at 2pm for a festive performance of Dixieland standards, Christmas, and Holiday tunes. We will have a reception with cookies after the concert so anyone in the mood for baking is free to bring some cookies to share.

Don’t forget to bring along your friends and family, this is a fantastic event for all ages!

After the concert we will also be drawing the winners of our 13 – item raffle, so don’t forget to pick up a ticket by the end of the concert.

Sunday Concert: Christmas with the Firehouse 6

Join us this Sunday for a little Dixie! The Firehouse 6 Dixieland Band will be performing at 2pm, for full info click HERE.

This event was extremely popular last year, make sure to come a little early to claim your seat and buy some raffle tickets. We’ll have a lovely reception with cookies after the concert!

Following the concert we will be drawing the winners of our raffle. Tickets are $1/ea; 6/$5; 13/$10. You do not need to be present to win, but please come buy some tickets and we’ll do our best to make you win. We really don’t want to call 13 people to arrange pickup times 🙂

However, if you can’t make it, we’ll be happy to call you when you win. Just email us ([email protected]) for instructions on how to pay by paypal, or to co-ordinate pickup of the money. Don’t forget to leave us a list of where you want your tickets placed. Here’s the items to be won, each has it’s own jar:

Baking Competition Winners!

We are pleased to announce the Winner’s of the Arts Center’s 2012 Cookie Competition! We had 11 competition entrants, as well as donated cookies for sale. The competition was fun, with people able to sample the entries and vote for the “People’s Choice Dessert.” All the competitors also provided cookies for the cookie walk. The selection was fantastic, and we nearly sold out of cookies! Thank you for all that participated.
