Pedro Giraudo Quartet has come to represent the evolution of the ever-popular art form. Join us for a live outdoor performance led by the virtuoso bassist and composer Pedro Giraudo, who spices up the form while retaining all the lushness and beauty of tango.

The performance will be held at Union Church, pre-registration is encouraged but not required. WCCMA followers will be able to register at the door, as the event is currently “sold out” via the registration link.

Family Picnic Day: Creativity and Culture with the Vermont Abenaki Artists Association

Enjoy an online and/or in person outdoor concert/mini-festival with Nulhegan Drum, storytelling and history by Chief Don Stevens, and a showcase of Abenaki artists. Bring the whole family to for the fun and educational event that also include a special artist showcase demonstration.

Demonstrations begin at 1:30pm
Concert starts at 2pm

In-person seating (BYO chair) is available at the outdoor venue, please register by using Eventbrite, at Union Episcopal Church, 133 Old Church Rd, Claremont, NH. Pre-registration is not required but is appreciated in case of inclement weather or technical issues. In Japanese, genki means “happy, healthy and full of life.” This all-female, multi-generational group with roots in Japan and other Asian countries brings all things genki to the art of Japanese taiko drumming. This energetic show gets the audience moving and drumming, inspired by a passion for creativity and culture. Programmed in conjunction with Kodo Evolution 2019 in Hanover, NH, USA performing at the Hop on Mar 5. Free, no tickets required!
