The West Claremont Center for Music and the Arts is thrilled announce 5-day Taiko Drumming Workshop with Burlington Taiko Group open to the community. Sessions will be offered after-school and in the evening at Claremont’s CSB Community Center the week of Sept 24th – 28th. A final performance will be held on Sept 28th at 3:30 in West Claremont in the field next to Union Church. Rain location is the CSB Community Center Gym. There is no required fee to join these workshops, but donations to help support the program are appreciated. This program is made possible in part through a grant from the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA.org), and through a collaboration with Claremont Parks and Recreation.

Thurs: 3:15 – 4:45pm
Fri: 3:15 – 4:45pm

A part of this program will also be offered in school at Stevens High School, and Maple Avenue School throughout the week, and each group will perform one taiko drumming piece during the Burlington Taiko Group performance Saturday Sept 28th, at 3:30pm. Following the performance of residency participants will be a performance by Burlington Taiko Group.
