HopStop: Jeh Kulu African Drum and Dance Theater

Celebrate traditional West African music and dance with this incredibly talented group from Burlington, Vermont. In the Bambara language of Mali, “Jeh Kulu” means “community,” and that is exactly what this high energy group brings to all their performances. Jump, clap and bounce along to the driving rhythms. Programmed in conjunction with Mamadou Diabate and Percussion Mania, performing at the Hop on Nov 7. Free, no ticket required!
